Peter is a graduate of Pomperaug High and the University of Connecticut
with a degree in Finance. In 1996, he completed the College for Financial
Planning Course and earned the Certified Financial Planner designation.
Peter has received both the Phoenix Mutual Blue Vase Award (twice) and Phoenix
Group Sales Award for outstanding group benefit sales nationally.
Currently, Peter is an advisor to the Connecticut Business and Industry
Association (CBIA) regarding their group insurance business.
In his leisure time, he is a board member of United Cerebral Palsy (SC/CT
Chapter). In addition, he enjoys golfing, volleyball and weightlifting.

Barbara is a graduate of the Linden Hall School for Girls (Lititz, PA) and
the Berkeley Secretarial School in New York. After working for several years
at Columbia University and Avon Products, she joined CBE in 1994 to help
bolster our systems support and customer service department.
In her spare time, Barbara is the Recording Secretary of the Mayflower
Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club (20 years). She also enjoys reading, gardening,
visiting her family home in Nova Scotia and quilting (former President
of Trumbull Piecemakers).

Greg is an honors graduate of both Masuk High School and Western New England
College. Besides handling employee benefits for several corporate clients,
Greg brings 12 years of Property/Casualty* experience to CBE. Greg's knowledge
of liability, property, worker's compensation and auto coverage has allowed
many of our clients to conveniently keep all of their insurance business
"in one basket." In his spare time, Greg enjoys ice hockey
and actively plays, coaches and officiates. He will be entering his 6th
year as Head Coach of Trumbull High School. In 2003, he was awarded
the Connecticut Post High School Ice Hockey Coach Of The
Year.

Diana is the backbone of all in-house activities at CBE. She graduated from
Central High School and attended Fairfield University.
Since the "personal touch" is a key element to the continued
growth of our organization, we feel that Diana's personal interest in
our clients in combination with her vast knowledge of successfully dealing
with insurance carriers makes her one of our most valuable assets.
In her spare time, she was the past East Coast Regional Coordinator of
the Faith & Light Special Education program. Along with her
husband, John, they have spent many years working with people who have
special needs.

Dana is a graduate of Andrew Warde High School in Fairfield. After working
for several years at United Technologies, she joined CBE in 1989 to handle
customer service. Over the years, her responsibilities have grown to include:
chief underwriting clerk for all individual life and disability business,
new/renewing group proposals, technical support as well as heading the Client
Relations Department.
In her spare time, she enjoys bowling, reading and working with people
who have special needs. She is the Coordinator of the Sister Margaret
Mary Faith Club in Bridgeport through the Diocese of Bridgeport.

John P. Schod, C.I.C., Managing Member, is a graduate of Fairfield Prep
and Boston University. As the founding member of Corporate Benefit Enterprises,
John has been responsible for bringing several hundred corporate and almost
2500 individual accounts to the firm. He has been awarded on five occasions
the prestigious Phoenix Mutual President's Award for sales excellence and
professionalism. Frequently, he speaks to both local and national organizations
on the topic of managing health care costs. He is a Certified Insurance
Consultant, a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial
Advisors, Fairfield County Chapter of CLU and a Certified Member of the
Connecticut Partnership on Long-Term Care.
During his leisure time, John is the former president of Greater Bridgeport
Youth Hockey, and is currently the Committee Chairman for the Ct. Wolves
Junior Hockey organization. In additional, he has been a baseball
coach at both Choate Rosemary Hall and in the Trumbull programs.
In 1997, he was recognized by the Connecticut Post for his 20+
years of coaching youth athletics.

Ken is a graduate of Masuk High School and Western New England College with
a degree in Business Administration. Ken's honest and straightforward approach
has been responsible for helping our office win several national sales achievement
awards with major carriers in Connecticut. He has sat on the advisory board
of ConnectiCare and provides input about changing trends in health care
to several area providers.
Ken is a member of the Southwest Chapter of the National Association
of Life Underwriters and a Certified Member of the Connecticut Partnership
on Long-Term Care.
In his spare time, Ken enjoys playing softball, golf and coaching Little
League and basketball in Southbury.

Michael is a graduate of Norwalk State Technical College and Florida
Atlantic University. As an experienced field underwriter, Michael handles
a wide range of company clients. His fine communication skills allow him
to address executives and staff in an amiable and effective manner, and
to create long-term relationships that our office relishes.
He is licensed life and health broker in both Connecticut and New Jersey.
Furthermore, he is a member of the National Association of Life Underwriters
and a Certified Member of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council.
A lifelong resident of Fairfield, Michael enjoys physical fitness and
all sporting activities. He regularly volunteers in the local community
and at Bridgeport Hospital.

Chris is a graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall and is currently attending the
University of Rhode Island. When he is not in school, Chris helps with marketing
activities and client relations.
Chris is a former standout prep school and college ice hockey player. He
also has been seen in commercials for Nabisco, Kraft Foods and others. Recently,
he had a cameo role in the movie, “The Buddy System.”
In his spare time, Chris enjoys guitar playing, golfing and working out. |
